Cookie policy

Best IAM Tools sets no cookies and reads none. It does not use localStorage or sessionStorage. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking tools, so there is no consent banner.

Nothing persists in your browser. The stack builder and side-by-side tools keep your choices in the page address, so a link can be shared, and in the page's memory while it is open. The column's tag filter is kept in memory and resets when you leave the page.

The only request the site makes to another company is the font download from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). It fetches the typefaces the pages use, and Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request. Google Fonts does not set cookies on this site's domain. Links to vendor pages and standards bodies only contact those sites if you choose to follow them.

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site storage in its privacy or site settings, and a private window discards them when it closes. Blocking cookies does not affect this site, because it uses none. Blocking the font request makes the pages fall back to your system fonts.
